The Amsterdam based duo I, poor romantic consists of Raymond Deirkauf and Marjolein
van der Meer. Our playful, poetic style comes from Amsterdam, where we mix spoken word with dark deep basses, minimal beats and high open synths. Raymond, a former member of the electropunk band ‘3-1’ and ‘Lucky Goat’ is responsible for the exciting down tempo beats and basses. Marjolein adds the poetic layer with her subtile but beautiful vocals.
